Airwallex - Engineering Lead, Full Stack, Growth Team

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including experience leading engineers or complex technical initiatives, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Strong full-stack engineering expertise, with hands-on experience building and operating production web applications using modern frontend technologies such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript, alongside backend technologies such as Python, Java/Kotlin, or Node.js. • Demonstrated ownership of web engineering, with experience architecting, building, and scaling customer-facing websites, web applications, CMS platforms, landing pages, or similar digital experiences, including integrations with backend services and third-party systems. • Proven technical leadership and execution skills, with a track record of leading complex engineering initiatives, making sound architectural decisions, navigating technical tradeoffs, and delivering high-quality solutions end to end. • Strong product judgment, ownership, and people leadership, with the ability to mentor and develop engineers, work effectively with Product, Design, and Marketing, navigate ambiguity, and translate business goals into measurable engineering outcomes. • Experience building or owning growth-oriented web platforms, including corporate websites, headless CMS, landing page platforms, marketing websites, or self-service product experiences. • Experience with growth systems and conversion optimization, including experimentation platforms, A/B testing, personalization, SEO, web analytics, attribution, or marketing technology integrations. • Experience designing and scaling modern web architectures, including server-side rendering, static site generation, CDN/edge infrastructure, caching, and web performance optimization. • Experience building AI-powered applications or agentic workflows, including LLM integration, tool orchestration, evaluation, and production observability. • Experience leading cross-functional engineering initiatives involving Product, Design, Marketing, Data Science, or Revenue Operations. • Experience in high-growth technology companies, fintech, payments, or regulated environments. • YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF • You have high agency and ownership.
