Planet - Revenue Accounting Transformation Manager
Requirements
• 6+ years of revenue accounting experience (combining Big 4 accounting and high-growth corporate finance experience is strongly preferred). • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Information Systems, or comparable. • Excellent understanding of US GAAP and ASC 606 principles in a complex SaaS, recurring revenue, multi-element, or usage-based business models. • Hands-on experience with SOX 404 compliance, internal control frameworks, and leading audit walk-throughs for automated IT application controls. • Direct experience implementing, configuring, or managing enterprise ERPs and revenue subledgers/engines (NetSuite ARM, Salesforce, etc.). • Proficiency with enterprise data warehouses and BI/visualization tools; solid database query/SQL skills are highly valued. • Success leading cross-functional project teams, managing project risk, and delivering complex system implementations on schedule. • Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills—capable of aligning incentives across Sales Ops, Legal, IT, Product, FP&A, and External Auditors. • Solid articulate communicator who can effortlessly explain complex technical accounting requirements to engineering teams and technical data concepts to accounting leadership. • What Makes You Stand Out: • Ability to navigate a dynamic, high-growth environment. • Agile approach to problem solving. • Application Deadline: • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only.
