Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or commercial roles. • Experience within fintech, SaaS, banking, payments, or technology sectors • Proven track record of building and scaling strategic partnerships • Strong commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills • Ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple complex partnerships simultaneously • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments • Consistently delivers partnership deals/projects while supporting the team and setting clear expectations • Proficient in using CRM tools to manage complex pipelines and provide actionable insights into partnership performance • Translates general direction into structured work plans and proposes prioritisation • Optimises execution; identifies inefficiencies • Identifies root causes, defines trade-offs, and turns insights into practical solutions • Operates effectively in ambiguity and reduces uncertainty for others • Develops clear, compelling narratives and presents complex topics accessibly • Acts as a key stakeholder; capable of leading cross-functional initiatives • Proactively seeks and gives constructive feedback; integrates diverse perspectives • Embodies company values and makes decisions based on highest impact • WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN: • Make work, work for you! Responsibilities
• Develop and execute Tide’s strategic partnerships roadmap • Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with growth and product objectives • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities across fintech, accounting, banking, payments, and SME ecosystems • Own the full partnership lifecycle from prospecting and negotiation through launch and ongoing growth • Lead commercial negotiations, partnership agreements, and contract renewals • Deliver against partnership revenue, deal volume, and customer acquisition targets • Track and report on partnership performance, including number of deals signed, customers acquired, revenue contribution, and engagement metrics • Drive joint go-to-market initiatives with partners • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure successful partner onboarding • Represent Tide externally at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities • Continuously evaluate market trends and competitor partnership strategies
