Restaurant Supply - Assistant Sales Manager
Requirements
• Minimum of 3+ years of sales leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in foodservice equipment, hospitality supply, or B2B eCommerce • Proven ability to support sales teams in achieving and exceeding revenue goals • Experience working with CRM platforms such as NetSuite CRM, Salesforce, or similar systems • Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and customer relationship management • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and motivate team members • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in reporting and sales performance tracking • High level of professionalism, accountability, and emotional intelligence • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Responsibilities
• Support the Sales Manager in overseeing the daily operations and performance of the sales team • Assist in coaching, mentoring, and motivating sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets • Monitor pipeline activity and opportunity progression to ensure timely follow-up and conversion • Ensure all customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities are accurately documented in the CRM system • Assist with preparing sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for leadership review • Work closely with team members to identify sales opportunities and improve customer engagement strategies • Help maintain pricing consistency and support competitive pricing strategies aligned with company goals • Collaborate with Marketing to align promotional campaigns and lead generation efforts with sales objectives • Support onboarding and ongoing training initiatives for new and existing sales team members • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and commercial kitchen equipment solutions to better support customers and the sales team • Assist in resolving customer escalations and internal team challenges in a professional and timely manner • Other duties as assigned
