Airwallex - Account Executive, Travel

• 3+ years of inside and/or field sales experience closing net-new business in a high-growth company, with experience in travel, fintech, and/or international payments. • A customer-focused, consultative approach to sales. • Experience leading the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, in complex buying environments. • A track record of building and managing a robust pipeline through targeted outreach, industry events, strategic networking, and professional relationships. • Strong pitching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Legal, Finance, and Strategy. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong travel industry relationships, with an established network of key decision-makers across OTAs, tour operators or hotel and flight consolidators • A passion for financial technology and its impact on global business. • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across teams and cultures. • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business value. • A professional network within the travel industry. • Willingness and ability to travel for business meetings and conferences. • APPLICANT SAFETY POLICY: FRAUD AND THIRD-PARTY RECRUITERS • To protect you from recruitment scams, please be aware that Airwallex will not ask for bank details, sensitive ID numbers (i.e. passport), or any form of payment during the application or interview process.
