Requirements

• AI & Prompt Engineering Experience: Practical experience using AI tools to automate SEO tasks, analyse large datasets, or optimise for generative search. • Technical SEO Expertise: Solid understanding of Google Search Console, enterprise crawling solutions (e.g., Lumar, Botify), and search intelligence platforms. • Marketplace Experience: Demonstrable experience working within a marketplace or high-volume e-commerce environment is highly desirable. • Programming & Scripting: Experience with coding (e.g., Python or JavaScript) to build custom automations and interface with APIs. • Analytical Mindset: The ability to use data to estimate impact and track success, combined with the commercial acumen to prioritise tasks effectively. • Communication Skills: An ability to write detailed documentation and translate technical jargon into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. • Adaptability: Experience in international SEO and an interest in how organic growth extends to YouTube and social platforms.

Responsibilities

• AI Automation & Scalability: You will lead the charge in integrating AI into our growth workflows, focusing on automation to scale technical SEO across our international network of websites. • Technical SEO Excellence: Your mission is to help us win on technical SEO across all brands. You will work closely with product and engineering teams, educating and guiding them on the requirements for modern crawling, indexation, and AI-readiness. • Cross-functional Leadership: Reporting directly to the Director of Organic Growth, you will collaborate with regional managers and tech teams to turn complex SEO requirements into high-performance digital experiences. • Tooling & Tech Ownership: You will own the relationship with our tech vendors, ensuring we maximise the output of our stack while identifying new AI-native platforms to give us a competitive edge. • Strategic Impact: You will be responsible for defining health scores and articulating how your technical initiatives—driven by smart prioritisation and AI—have directly impacted carwow's bottom line.
