voltus - Partnerships Sales Director

• This is a remote role. Candidates must be based in the United States or Canada. • 5+ years of full cycle sales experience. • Experience in battery energy storage, either on the demand response side or on the development and deployment side, with a clear understanding of how battery projects get built and who the partners are. • A track record of hitting a sales target and closing deals, with clear examples of the size and pace of deals you’ve closed in dollars, megawatts, megawatt hours, or systems installed. • A habit of finding ways to shorten the sales cycle, with examples of how you’ve moved deals faster without losing diligence. • Experience navigating partnerships through complex negotiations, including letters of intent and definitive agreements. • Working knowledge of the electric grid and wholesale electricity markets. • Grit and resourcefulness in a fast-moving environment. • College degree (MBA preferred). • Please note that at this time, we do not sponsor visas or transfers for new hires.
