• Hunt down and research potential non-member trades across multiple channels, then work out whether they're a genuine fit for Checkatrade. • Pick up the phone (and send emails) to start conversations that uncover what prospects actually need and where it hurts. • Make Checkatrade's value land clearly, qualify the sales opportunity and quickly, in a way that sparks real curiosity. • Warm leads up through the early stages of their journey, then hand them over cleanly to account executives to re-qualify and close. • Keep Salesforce spotless, with accurate, up-to-date records of every conversation and lead. • Team up with sales executives and other teams to swap insights, sharpen your outreach and convert more of the leads you find. • 0-2 years' experience in business development, lead generation, client outreach or another customer-facing role. • A results-driven streak, with the resilience to keep finding and qualifying new opportunities even when the first few calls don't land. • Communication that builds rapport fast and gets your point across clearly and concisely. • A proactive, organised approach to managing your pipeline. • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is useful, but if you're keen to learn, we'll train you up. • (Don't self-select out because you don't tick every box.
