Requirements

• You have 3+ years of B2B sales experience (SaaS, HR Tech, or professional services preferred) and a track record of influencing senior stakeholders. • You possess Native-level Japanese for the market and Business-level English to collaborate with our global team. • You are comfortable with CRM tools (such as HubSpot) and use engagement metrics to back up your sales strategy. • You thrive in remote, fast-paced environments and are motivated by the challenge of "owning" a market. • Prior experience working at a fast-growing startup. • Experience in the EdTech, E-Learning, HR Software, or Well-being sector. • Experience with public sector or government procurement • A self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong growth mindset. • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously. • Data-driven and systematic approach.

Responsibilities

• Your role is a blend of hunter, consultant, and strategist. You will manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle for the Japanese market: • Target Account Planning: Create a clear plan for your region. You will identify the best companies to target and focus your efforts on the most important potential clients for Cambly. • Building Your Pipeline: You are responsible for your sales funnel from start to finish. While you will handle incoming leads (inbound), you must also proactively find and contact new accounts (outbound) to meet or exceed your sales goals. • Consultative Selling: Use smart questioning and "value-selling" to understand client needs. You will build strong relationships with key managers to help grow our revenue through new deals and upgrades. • Networking: Use in-person meetings, events, and conferences to strengthen your relationships with high-level executives. • Travel: Be ready to travel up to 5% of the time for meetings and events. • Executive Partnerships: Work directly with senior leaders (C-suite) to solve their business problems. Your goal is to get their support for large, company-wide programs. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Marketing team.
