datafold - Enterprise Account Executive – EMEA
Requirements
• 5+ years in enterprise software sales, with at least 2 years selling into the data/analytics space (data platforms, ETL/ELT, data engineering tooling, or adjacent) • Proven track record closing new enterprise logos in EMEA • Experience with a partner-led or co-sell motion • Comfort with technical buyers: you don't need to write SQL, but you need to hold a credible conversation with a data engineering lead about migration complexity, risk, and timelines • Outcome-based or professional services sales experience is a strong plus — selling a fixed-price deliverable is different from selling a SaaS license, and you understand why • Self-starter with a builder mentality — we have a motion that works, but this is still an early EMEA team and you'll help define how it scales
Responsibilities
• Own the full sales cycle for new logos across EMEA: discovery, technical qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close • Build and develop pipeline through our partner ecosystem (Databricks, Snowflake, GCP, dbt, Microsoft), including field co-sell, joint account planning, and partner-sourced introductions • Run compelling discovery and value conversations with both data engineering leaders and executive buyers (VP/CTO level) • Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers to scope migration projects, build SOWs, and set customer expectations on delivery • Represent Datafold at partner events, field meetups, and customer briefings across EMEA • Feed market and competitive intelligence back into product and GTM — you are close to customers and partners; your input shapes how we evolve
