Requirements
• Experience: 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, with a background in sales, sales strategy, product marketing, or business development. • Leadership: Proven experience leading high-performing, cross-functional teams. You are a "player-coach" who can provide strategic direction while also rolling up your sleeves to help win the first deals. • GTM Expertise: A deep understanding of the new product introduction (NPI) process. Prior experience taking a new product to market is highly desirable. • Strategic Acumen: The ability to develop a comprehensive GTM strategy, set measurable objectives, and pivot based on market feedback. • Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions and communicate results. • Exceptional Communication: The ability to articulate a clear and compelling vision and influence stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to C-level executives. • Entrepreneurial Spirit: You thrive in ambiguous environments, are comfortable with experimentation, and have a relentless drive to build something new and impactful. • What you can expect: • Lead and Drive Sales: Recruit, manage, and mentor a dedicated team of Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success Managers, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and focused execution on revenue-generating activities. • Secure Cornerstone Customers: Personally own and drive the sales cycle to secure the first paying customers for new products, gathering critical insights to refine our ideal customer profile (ICP) and value proposition. • Drive Early Revenue: Own the team’s initial pipeline and ARR targets, proving the commercial viability of new solutions through direct sales involvement. • Validate Product-Market Fit: Define and execute the strategy to secure the first paying customers for new products, gathering critical insights to refine our ideal customer profile (ICP) and value proposition. • Build the Sales Playbook: Author the GTM playbook, documenting everything from messaging and competitive positioning. Then working with enablement to get this to the field. • Establish a Feedback Engine: Create and manage a robust process for channeling direct feedback from customers and the market back to Product Management, Product Marketing, and executive leadership to guide the product roadmap and inform sales strategy. • Serve as a Key Liaison: Act as the primary GTM stakeholder for new products, collaborating closely with partners in Product, Marketing, Enablement, and Corporate Development to ensure tight cross-functional alignment and a clear path to revenue. • Report on Progress: Deliver data-driven updates to the GTM leadership team on key learnings, progress against objectives, and recommendations for scaling the sales effort. • UK-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between £113,000 GBP and £164,000 GBP, and is commission-eligible.
